The University of Calicut has implemented the Accelerated Degree Programme (ADP) under FYUGP for students admitted from the 2025–26 batch onwards. The programme enables meritorious and high-performing students to complete their undergraduate degree in one semester less than the normal duration. Eligibility: * More than 85% marks in both the First and Second Semesters. * No failure in any prescribed course during these semesters. * Must have earned 42 credits in the first two semesters. Application: Eligible students can apply at the end of the Second Semester or at the beginning of the Third Semester through the Tutor and HoD, along with: * Academic transcripts of Semesters 1 & 2 * Statement of Purpose * Proposed plan of action for earning additional credits Selection: Applications will be scrutinized by the College ADP Committee. A maximum of 10% of the sanctioned seats in each discipline may be allotted under ADP. Credit Requirements: Students must complete the required programme credits in one semester less by earning additional credits through approved University courses, SWAYAM/MOOCs, and skill-based courses.
